greetings,
i write from a cozy bedroom in freezing st louis. mindy and i've just returned from fort myers. we've had a great time tying up our loose ends and visiting with people we love. after deliberating for some time, we've set our new departure date for May 1. this will happen as long as we can complete the fund raising. visas, housing, and most everything else are in place and ready to roll. please pray that God would continue to provide opportunities for us to share and that His people respond.
we're off tomorrow to a church in o'fallon, illinois. it's about 30 miles from here. they're giving us many people to spend time with and we're very excited to have the chance to share. pray that God would prepare the way for our message.
we're excited about how things are coming together. our prayer is that God is blessing you as well. we're so very thankful for those who care so much about us. it's extremely humbling.

ps. 30/30/30 proved very helpful. God blessed us with about 12 new partners. less than thirty, but more than 0! praise God!

To those of you who have been keeping up with our ministry you're well aware of our 30/30/30 Campaign (Jan30-Feb28). For those who are unaware, Mindy and I are seeking out, over 30 days, 30 partners who will give $30 per month to our ministry. We are now at the halfway point of this Campaign and have had 8 partners join us. Praise God!
We are asking that you would please pray for this venture. We know that if 30 new partners do join we'll be well on our way to seeing our budget completed. As of today we have 73% of our budget committed. Right now is a very exciting time for our ministry. Pray that God would continue to show Himself in the work that He's doing through us.

sorry it's been so long since we blogged. we've been pretty busy as of late trying to slow down. last week we sent out nearly 100 letters to potential partners in hopes of picking up some more support. it's the first time we've asked through letters, so we're a bit anxious to see how it will turn out. please pray about our 30/30/30 campaign: an effort to add 30 partners in 30 days who will give $30 per month. it's starts in 4 days, running from jan. 30-feb. 28.
to follow up on our last blog, the church in kentucky chose not to pick up any new ministries. thank you so much for your prayers. please keep it up!

greetings,
we've survived the ice storm of 2007. we were without power for a whole week. no worries. our dearest aunt and uncle took us in and we were well taken care of. we're off to joplin for a day later this week and then we'll settle down for the holidays.
PLEASE PRAY ON DECEMBER 30th. There is a church in Kentucky voting on new missions to pick up and we have a pretty good relationship with the church and would really be blessed by their partnership. We are still in need of about $1600 of monthly support and we're really wanting to get it in soon. PLEASE PRAY.
